Rise Market was founded by Allyson Lea and Elijah Gray in 2020. As a queer, trans, and multi-racial couple the two small business owners imagined a marketplace that honored their unique identities and built community. 

•  Ally [she/they] identifies as a white cis-gender cellulite-loving queer femme and creator  •
•  Eli [t/he/y] identifies as a bi-racial trans masc non-binary person of color and a radical queer  •

Rise was born in pursuit of this vision, and we are now guided by our core values: equity, community and innovation.

BUILDING A MORE EQUITABLE FUTURE

As queer, trans, and multi-racial creatives with unique identities we're dedicated to seeking queer liberation and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. But none of us are free without Justice for Black Lives -- and we must fight equally as hard for racial equity and justice for all Black people, people of color, and especially Black Trans Women.

- we are committed to being affordable, increasing accessibility, and continuing to educate ourselves
